Publisher's summary

He’s my brother’s best friend.

The hot single dad next door.

And one accidental sext later, my massive crush on him is no longer a secret.

It’s my own damn fault. I’m 30 years old, for heaven’s sake. I’m a kindergarten teacher and a (reasonably) responsible adult. I should know better than to get tipsy and draft a fake text listing all the dirty things I wish Officer Cole Mitchell would do to me.

I wasn’t supposed to hit send.

He wasn’t supposed to see it.

And he definitely wasn’t supposed to text back telling me to go on....

Because after that, things escalate quickly.

Cole is everything I’ve ever wanted. He’s sexy and protective. A devoted father to his little girl. A dedicated cop the whole town adores. The kind of guy you can trust to keep his hands to himself, even when you’re desperately hoping he won’t.

I’m not the girl he thought he’d end up with, but after all this time, I might finally get the chance to say the words I’ve always dreamed of...make me yours.

Lacks originality, lacks creativity

Just another subpar book on the guy's best friend's sister. Really, how many times can this book be written? Actually, this entire genre has the feel of beating dead storylines...Characters lack depth, storyline has been told by every other author in this genre, unoriginal, lackluster,

A beautiful trip to Bellamy Creek ❤️

Thank you Melanie for another beautiful story. This is book two in the Bellamy Creek series and it should give you all the same feel good vibes as the first. I love the way she writes her men, their struggles. It’s not over the top, and their growth is authentic. I am loving that this series focuses on the men. We get more of the guy friendships in this story as well as the relationships, and I love it. There is also a trip to Cloverleigh Farms, and if you have read that series by Melanie Harlow you will love it. I felt like my new friends were hanging out someplace I already knew and loved. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!

The narrators were absolutely fantastic. This might be the best narration on one of her books yet.

Great story made better by fantastic narration

Melanie Harlow has further cemented her title as the queen of small towns. There's this sense of belonging that you get with each of her small town series that will draw you in and keep you coming back for more. It's in the little nuances she adds to each book like the nosy neighbors who care, the tight bonds between family, friends & neighbors and the quintessential sense of home.

I read Make Me Yours over the weekend and wasn't able to articulate how much I loved it, so I jumped right in to the Audible version and fell even harder for Cole (Aiden Snow as Cole is 🔥🔥🔥), and Bellamy Creek as a whole. I loved that Cheyenne and Cole already had such a long history; it made their eventual transition into lovers that much easier. It also made it that much harder too:

“The truth is, Cole, I don’t want it enough either— not enough to invite the heartbreak that would follow. Because I won’t be able to just walk away from this and be okay. It will mean too much to me.”

I cannot tell you how proud I was of Cheyenne in that moment. Recognizing her self worth and walking away may have been difficult, but it would've been worse if she had stayed and found out later that they weren't on the same page. Cole still had a few demons and a dragon to slay, but it was just so, so perfect once he decided to get out of his own way.

"My life has taken some unexpected twists and turns, but I know a few things for sure. I know I was meant to be Mariah’s father. I know I was meant to live in this house. And I know I was meant to spend the rest of my life with you.” He cradled my face in his hands. “You’re home to me, Cheyenne. You’re family to me. The way you love me makes me want to be a better man.”

I mean, all.the.swoons. ❤

I loved it, my favourite so far

The second book in Melanie Harlow’s latest series and was as entertaining and well written as previous books have read from this author.
From the first chapter until the last I was totally riveted to the story Ms.Harlow wove and had a hard time putting it down when real life got in my way interrupting my reading..
I knew that I was going to love Cole and Cheyenne but I had no idea how much. I fell hard and fast for these characters, they were easy to relate to and I loved how protective he was with his daughter Mariah and how totally swoon worthy and alpha Cole is. Cheyenne , I could easily see as my friend.
Make Me Yours is a wonderfully written story of love and romance. This book gave me all the feels; It was sweet, a little angsty, spicy, funny and romantic. It tugged at my heart strings left me with a smile on my face as Melanie Harlow’s characters came to life for me.
I love stories set in small towns, add in that this is a single parent story and I was hooked. I could easily imagine myself in Bellamy Creek and I cannot wait to see whose story is next.
Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt did a great job in bringing these characters to life for me.

Finally, Cheyenne gets her man! ❤

I was rooting for Cheyenne since Drive Me Wild. You can just see that she's yearning for her brother’s best friend. Really, who could blame her? Cole is the entire package! A police officer with the most adorable daughter Mariah, a bruised heart, and a bit of a chip on his shoulder about love. I swooned over them finding their way together... and Mariah, she was so adorable that I wanted to scoop her up!

Melanie Harlow writes the best characters. They have real problems, tons of heart and at the center of it all is family. I lost a few tears during Blair and Griffin's wedding. My heart is lost to this group! The narration could not have been any better... Andi Arndt is a top 5 favorite female narrator. Her voice just captures all the feelings! Aiden Snow was a fabulous Cole! He seems to hide his feelings a bit but still breaks out the soft. Gahhh! I just love their narration together!

Disappointed.. not worth the credit

This seems more like it was a book promoting psychiatrists and mental health more than a romance.. it started out good but honestly I wasn’t feeling their connection. The book just felt like fluff to me.. 😢 I mean it sounded like it was going to be an amazing book but I was very disappointed. Not worth the credit

Emotional and Heartwarming!

This is the second book in the Bellamy Creek Series, a Small Town Romance, and Brother's Best Friend Romance. Cole and Cheyenne's friends to lovers story is emotional and sweet. Mariah, Cole's daughter, is a cute little girl. Cole is a cop, sexy, single dad, and a widower. He his caring and protective. Cheyenne is lovely, and supportive. They are two beautiful characters, and I loved to follow them in their journey to love. The supporting characters are great. I loved to see again Griffin and Blair from Drive Me Wild. I love these serie with intertwined characters. I had the opportunity to read an ARC of this book, and I bought the audiobook version, because of the narrators. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

Hot single dad!

Nothing sexier than a single dad, especially in uniform! Cole and Cheyanne have been friends for years since Cole is her brother’s best friend and they grew up next door to each other. Cole never admitted having finally noticed Cheyanne for more than this before an accidental sexting message that brought both of their feelings to the surface. Cheyanne has always had a crush on coke but he was married until she died giving birth. Cole has been surviving for years with the help of his mother in raising his daughter, never opening his eyes to true love till one day his eyes opened in a new way. The path to love is not easy for these two even once they finally admit their feelings but in the end it was worth the wait!

Can't get enough!

The next story in Bellamy creek. It exceeded my expectations! I can't wait for the third story. is this going to be Enzo and Bianca's story? Melanie did a perfect job with the sexual tension, and relationship development. I'm going to be dealing with a serious book hangover for a while!

Wonderful girl next door story

Cheyenne has lived next door to Cole her whole life. He is her brother's best friend and she's had a crush on him forever. Coke is a widower with a nine year old daughter. He doesn't believe that he deserves happiness and that it will be taken away from him. He finally notices Cheyenne and he begins to fall in love with her. Then he gets cold feet about his happiness. Will he figure out how to make everything right with Cheyenne before it's too late? I loved this second book in the series and how Cloverleigh Farms is in the story, too. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow are wonderful narrators. I can't wait for the next book by Melanie Harlow.
